Brown Should I Drill Or Not Let The State Find Out

Jerry Brown in his first stint as California governor was known as Governor Moonbeam
Second time around he has become the champion of the renewable energy greens
Many a fossil fuel energy project under the banner of stopping climate change he has chosen to block
So the news of exploring oil and gas potential production on the Brown family ranch is somewhat of a shock
Not so much that he wanted to the possibilities of oil and gas and minerals to explore
Most landowners wonder what oil and gas are waiting to be extracted along with some valuable mineral ores
But rather not hiring on his own nickel a private firm
But directing state workers to create a 50 plus page report to deny or the existence of black gold to affirm
Not using state workers for private projects is basic integrity in government 101
Even ignoring the hypocrisy of political officials we have come accustomed  to expect, surprised these ethics Brown chose to shun
