Proud American

I am a proud American for as long as I have had memories to recall

Not just on this day but every one from winter, spring, summer and fall

Hopefully our first lady who much later in her life finally found her pride

Will retain it once Barack ends his 8 year presidential ride

After all her daughter was born on this Fourth of July in 1998

And after 8 years of Air Force 1 trips we hope her new pride will not abate

I am proud to be an American and the PC world I detest

Restore our values and this nation will meet all tests
