Angeletti-Academic Repression Not Freedom

Professor Angeletti of Metropolitan State must have tenure so from dismissal he must be immune
But his requirement of reciting his brand of Pledge  of Allegiance is crazier than a loon
Worse he may be on drugs since the last time I looked we have a black Blue in the White House
This nation being Republican controlled is a pretty foolish idea for him to espouse
Attacking Republicans and Christians because of their beliefs
Is just another example of why this nation is in such grief
Academic freedom has to be a two way street
Not one way from the prof only so a dissenting student’s GPA goes down to defeat
He is entitled to his views but he is not entitled to the students’ dissent suppress
Armed with the power of the grade to two way discussion arrest
I can only imagine what it is like in his class with his closed mind
With any chance of real learning or discussion left far, far behind
I would hope the students start to record his rants and raves
So dissenters will have a chance for an unbiased grade to save
Or better yet his class all but the most liberal should boycott
There is no learning when a student cannot express without retaliation one's thoughts
As to his Pledge set forth below, I would absolutely refuse such lunacy to it recite
It is just another example not of academic freedom but of academic blight

I pledge allegiance to and wrap myself in the flag of the United States Against Anything Un-American, and to the Republicans for which it stands, two nations, under Jesus, rich against poor, with curtailed liberty and justice for all except blacks, homosexuals, women who want abortions, Communists, welfare queens, treehuggers, feminazis, illegal immigrants and children of illegal immigrants and you, if you don’t watch your step.”
