1800 computers missing in NYC Education Department Auditt

The news out of New York City proves that waste is not confined to just the Feds
It is alive and well in the Department of Education which is failing for many students trying to get ahead
Almost two thousand computers purchased  in an audit cannot be found
Inventory controls and monitoring completely inept and unsound
When government especially the Feds elect to tax dollars spend
Waste and fraud is an integral part of a growing trend
Not the bureaucrat’s money, does not come out of their pockets, so why should they care?
No accountability, only cries for more money to go on a spending tear
No wonder in charter schools where parents become involved in the education of their kids
Waste, fraud, poor results, poor teachers—parents and non union teachers work together to rid
The silver lining in the audit is that it is only two million dollars down the drain
The cloud however per the audit is that the loss is only the iceberg tip; further losses not contained
How many computers missing reside in the homes of administrators one can only guess
Take it to the bank however that very doubtful there will be any arrests
