You can’t
disqualify a man because of the past of his fiancée
But fiancée of
John Kitzhaber running for a fourth term must be in dismay
Hayes broke
the law with a marriage of convenience in 1997 for five grand
Same year
teamed to buy acres as illegal pot growing land
The governor
has been referring to his fiancée as the ‘First Lady” of the State
While concern
over potential conflicts with her consulting business will not abate.
The Red
candidate is walking a fine line not attacking Hayes for her past acts
But rather
conflicts with her consulting business and relationship that would give her the
inside tract
Not sure if
this passes the smell test but the Red should not attack her only the contracts
Wives and fiancées
should be immune or women voters will rise up in anger and he will be
shellacked.
