It is always better to wage a war
of tweets
Than a war of bullets and bodies
covered in body bag sheets
A tweet of Putin with a leopard,
Obama with a poodle fluffy and white
Images conjured of which man has
the greater power and might
If strength is measured in age, both
animals live in the 12 to 17 year span
But there are a lot more poodles
older than 17 than leopards in the land
Add to that this very simple fact
Poodles have something that
leopards lack
Leopards like men like Putin are an
endangered species
Putin's Soviet view of the world is
covered in feces
And like the life of the leopard
which may be all too short
So will Putin's hold on power be as
a growing list of sanctions the Russian economy will thwart
Sadly, like Dukakis looking like
Alfred E. Newman in an M-1 tank
Obama does look a bit like a wimp,
too bad we could not have had Palin mushing through an Alaskan snow bank
Since most Americans like dogs that
only a slipper will occasionally chew
And cats shred sofas and leave a litter
smell all of us rue
On this one our President is not completely
on the end of a short stick
At least he unlike Putin will get a
friendly non sandpaper like lick
